Bangalore got off to a flyer in the chase as they scored 30 off the first 2 overs. Suyash Sharma was introduced in the third over, and he got rid of the dangerous Faf du Plessis(↑7.38%) for 17(7). Shahbaz Ahmed↓64.51%) and Glenn Maxwell(↓4.36%) fell cheaply to Varun Chakravarthy(6.18%) as the powerplay ended at 58 for 3. Virat Kohli(5.52%) and Mahipal Lomror stitched a 55-run partnership to reduce the equation to 88 off 52. But both of them departed in a space of 5 balls as Bangalore lost all the momentum. They could only get to 179 for 8 in 20 overs, handing a 21-run win to Kolkata. Kohli scored 54 off 37, while Chakaravarthy bagged 3 wickets.

Market Update

 

Nitish Rana’s(37.30%) stocks shot up by ₹66.24. Rinku Singh(↑10.80%) also had his price appreciated by ₹23.66. While, Sunil Narine’s(↑8.22%) stocks escalated by ₹5.27. On the other hand, Shahbaz Ahmed(↓64.51%) got his stocks dropped by ₹27.27. Harshal Patel’s(↓52.37%) and Andre Russell’s(↓4.53%) price also depreciated by ₹16.5 and ₹4.43, respectively.
