Match 30: Lucknow vs. Gujarat

Gujarat 135 for 6 (Pandya 66(41.46%), Mohit 2/17)) beat Lucknow 128 for 7 (Rahul 68(↑5.32%), Krunal 2/16(62.01%)) by 7 runs.

Gujarat went against the trend by deciding to bat after winning the toss. Shubman Gill got out for a two-ball duck. Wriddhiman Saha and Hardik Pandya(41.46%) added 68 runs for the second wicket. Saha got out after scoring 47 off 37. The upcoming batters struggled badly and contributed just 21 off 31. Hardik played an exceptional knock of 66 off 50 to drag his side to 135 for 6. Krunal Pandya(62.01%) and Marcus Stoinis picked 2 wickets each.

In reply, Kyle Mayers and KL Rahul(↑5.32%) produced a 55-run opening partnership. After Mayers got out, Krunal Pandya(62.01%) partnered with Rahul for another fine partnership. Nicholas Pooran consumed 7 balls to score 1 run.

KL Rahul(↑5.32%) got into a shell, and with 23 needed in 3 overs, the next two overs brought only 11 runs. Mohit Sharma took the ball with 12 to defend off the last over. KL Rahul(↑5.32%) got out on the second ball after crawling to 68 off 61. Marcus Stoinis followed his next ball, and the next two balls saw two run-outs.
