Quetta Gladiators vs. Multan Sultans Match 3

After a couple of nail-biting contests to start the PSL 2023, we saw a one-sided game on Wednesday. Multan Sultan crushed the Quetta Gladiators to register their first win of the season. Read till the end to know the price changes of different players involved in the game.

Multan Sultans 111 for 1 (Rossouw 78, Ihsanullah 5/12) beat Quetta Gladiators 110 for 5(Roy 27, Hasnain 22) by 9 wickets.

 

After being invited to bat first by Multan Sultans, Quetta Gladiators lost Martin  Guptill(↓5%) in the second over. Jason Roy played a breezy cameo of 27(18), but two more wickets fell at the other end. Roy was also dismissed when the score was just 46, and Iftikhar  Ahmed(↑0%) followed him for a golden-duck.

Wickets kept tumbling for the Gladiators throughout their innings, and they were eventually bowled out for 110 runs. Ihsanullah was the star of the night, taking 5 wickets for just 12 runs. Sameen Gul and Abbas Afridi bagged 2 wickets each.

Like Quetta, Multan also lost an early wicket in the form of Shan Masood(↓5%). Then, Rilee Rossouw arrived at the crease and took the Gladiators’ bowling lineup to the cleaners. He smashed 78* off just 42 balls, and Mohammad Rizwan(↑0%) stayed unbeaten on 28. The Sultans secured an easy win with 9 wickets and 39 balls to spare.
