The 2023 Indian Premier League marked the 16th edition of the highly popular franchise Twenty20 cricket league in India. Organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India, this season featured 74 matches contested among the 10 participating teams. With the expanded number of teams, the IPL 2023 format consists of two main stages: the round robin and the playoffs.
