Rajasthan and Hyderabad locked horns in the first match on Sunday. The former team posted 203 on the board, while the latter team fell short by 72 runs. But the skipper Sanju Samson whacked 55 off 32, and Shimron Hetmyer stayed unbeaten on 22(16). Rajasthan scored 203 for 5 in their 20 overs.

Trent Boult rocked Hyderabad with a double wicket opening over. Harry Brook(↓12.80%) struggled after that and could only score 13 in his 21-ball outing. Hyderabad couldn’t recover from these early blows and kept losing wickets regularly. Yuzvendra Chahal(26.58%) picked 4 wickets as SRH finished at 131 for 8. Rajasthan secured an easy 72-run win.

 

Match 5: Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Mumbai Indians

 

Royal Challengers Bangalore 172 for 2 (Kohli 82(14.75%), Faf 73(4.92%)) beat Mumbai Indians 171 for 7 (Tilak 84, Wadhera 21) by 8 wickets.

 

Faf du Plessis(4.92%) put Mumbai into batting first, and his bowlers responded really well. Ishan Kishan, Cameron Green(↓14.94%), and Rohit Sharma(↓12.17%) were all back in the dugout as the powerplay ended at 29 for 3. Suryakumar Yadav also departed soon as MI got reduced to 48 for 4 after 8.5 overs. Tilak Varma was batting on another level as he and Nehal Wadhera stitched a 50-run stand in 5 overs. The latter got out for 21(13), and two more wickets fell cheaply. Tilak Varma stood tall and went unbeaten for 84(46). His spirited knock powered Mumbai to 171 for 7 in 20 overs. The last 17 balls of their innings brought 48 runs.

Faf du Plessis(4.92%) and Virat Kohli(14.75%) dominated Mumbai’s bowling attack from the first ball. The first 10 overs of the chase went for 97 as MI were still waiting for their first breakthrough. The two batters kept going till the 15th over and took the score to 148. Faf du Plessis(4.92%) eventually fell for 73(43) as just 24 were needed off 31. Dinesh Karthik followed him for a 3-ball duck. Glenn Maxwell came in and plundered 2 maximums while facing 3 balls. Virat Kohli(14.75%) finished the game with a 4 and a 6 as he got 82* off 49. Bangalore won the match by 8 wickets with 22 balls to spare.

Butler’s price went north by ₹34.23 on Sunday. Virat and Chahal got their value up by ₹25.07 and ₹33.27, respectively. Washington Sundar’s(↓16.78%) value went down by ₹26.2, while Cameron Green’s(↓14.94%) price dropped by ₹23.69. Harry Brook(↓12.80%) was also among the losers as his price decreased by ₹22.76.
