The chase started with Ruturaj Gaikwad(↓7.33%) falling for just 8 in the second over. Ajinkya Rahane was the next man in, and he took the attacking route straightaway. His 19-ball innings brought 31 runs, and he gave the required momentum to CSK’s innings. Ashwin got his wicket, and Chennai were 80 for 2 at the halfway stage of their innings. Rajasthan’s spinners were able to stem the flow of runs after that wicket. The next 5 overs went for just 33 and brought 4 more wickets. Now MS Dhoni(12.75%) and Ravindra Jadeja(26.51%) needed to get 63 of the final 5 overs.

They could only get 23 off the next 3. With 40 needed off 12, Jadeja smashed a 4 and a couple of sixes in the penultimate over of the chase. With 21 needed off the last 6 balls, Sandeep Sharma was handed the ball. He started with a couple of wides and a dot. Then, Dhoni took him for two sixes in two balls. Now, all the pressure was on the bowler as he needed to defend 7 off 3. He conceded only 2 singles in the next 2 balls. He executed another brilliant yorker on the last delivery of the match to give his team a 3-run win.

Ravindra Jadeja’s(↑26.51%) all-round performance boomed his stocks by ₹43.66. MS Dhoni(↑12.75%) and Ravichandran Ashwin(↑14.36%) also had their prices increased by ₹19.44 and ₹19.82, respectively. Whereas, Jason Holder’s(↓31.47%) price declined by ₹38.04. Along with that, Moeen Ali(↓14.22%) and Sanju Samson’s(↓11.68%) stocks also depreciated by ₹27.25 and ₹20.88.
