Batting first in the final, David Warner opened the innings for Hyderabad. He played a high-class innings of 69 runs in just 38 balls. The leftie smashed 8 boundaries and 3 maximums. His show with the bat helped Sunrisers Hyderabad to post 208 for 7 on the board. They got a narrow win by just 8 runs to get their first IPL trophy.

It was the second qualifier of the season, and the Gujarat Lions batted first in a must-win match for both teams. Thanks to a fine half-century from Aaron Finch, they posted 162 for 7 on the board. It was the 27th match of the 2016 edition of the IPL, and Hyderabad batted first. David Warner helped his team to reach 194 for 5 at the end of their innings. He faced 52 deliveries to score 92 runs. He smashed 9 fours and 5 sixes in his stay. SRH defended the target to get a 15-run win.

David Warner took control of the chase and slammed an extraordinary ton to ease things for his side. He picked up 109* runs in just 54 balls with the help of 10 boundaries and 7 maximums. Delhi Daredevils chased the total in just 16.4 overs for the loss of just 1 wicket.

7. 90 off 59 vs. Mumbai Indians in IPL 2016

Batting first, MI were reduced to 60 for 4 in the 11th over. Krunal Pandya’s rapid cameo of 49 off 28 dragged Mumbai to 142 for 6. He departed after facing 55 balls, which brought 9 fours and 4 sixes. Hyderabad scored 176 for 4 before dismissing KKR for just 101.

10. 90 off 45 vs. Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2014

In the 50th match of the season, CSK asked SRH to chase 186 runs. An opening partnership of 116 runs between David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan made things easy for the chasing side.
